Kirk Cousins: Hey, I'm Kirk Cousins. We're here at the Falcons practice facility today, and I'm excited to go beyond the field to help take care of my new hometown with Truist.

Cousins:  We're going to be meeting up with the local Boys and Girls Club, learning financial literacy skills, and learning what it means to work together as a team.

Cousins: Hey guys, how are we doing? Good to see you. Thanks for coming out.

Cousins: We set up a refreshment stand for my teammates after practice. The guys came off the field and they loved it.

Visual Description: The kids serve drinks to Falcons players after practice. They dance and celebrate with the players. Cousins autographs one participant’s shirt.

Cousins: Lemonade and sweet tea taste good on a hot Georgia summer day, don’t they?

Cousins: You wore a Falcon? Oh, that’s sharp.

Participant 1: You know, it was actually like a different experience because I’d never met a pro NFL quarterback before.

Cousins: We've got some athletes here today! Nice catch.

Cousins: Okay, so you guys came to my place of work. Now you're going to go show me the Boys and Girls Club. Let's bring it in.

Matthew: Welcome to the Boys and Girls Club.

Kirk Cousins: Thank you, I’m Kirk.

Xavier: How you doing, Kirk? I’m Xavier.

Kirk Cousins: Matthew, Xavier, thank you for having me. Let's go meet some kids. 

Matthew: Let’s go do it.

Cousins: All right you guys. So one thing we wanted to talk to you today is something that is not the most important thing in life, but it is very important. And that's money. Just like it takes practice to become a great football player, a great athlete, it takes practice to become a wise steward of your money. And you want to start at a young age. And we have a brand here today, they're in the purple shirts, named Truist. Truist knows how to steward money well.

Cousins: And they can be an asset not just now, but for the rest of our lives. But before I step away, I want to also say I've so enjoyed meeting all of you, and tomorrow the Falcons play here in Atlanta. And you are all invited to come to the game.

Marcus Rivero: Hi, I am Marcus, AKA Soles By Sir and I create one of one cleats for the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative. Today I'm going Beyond the Field with Truist to design custom cleats for your quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons, Kirk Cousins.

Kirk Cousins: So, I've done this My Cause, My Cleats for several years now, I love it. Go Beyond the Field and be a part of what Truist is doing here in the community, specifically with the Boys and Girls Club. But what really gets fun is when you can go beyond just the logo. Today, the kids made an awesome refreshment stand for my teammates.

Marcus Rivero: Yep, and I love the purple, the yellows, the greens.

Kirk Cousins: We are having a pizza party later.

Marcus Rivero: We’re putting pizza in here too, then.

Kirk Cousins: Love it,  Marcus.

Marcus Rivero: Perfect, I can't wait.

Marcus Rivero: So Kirk’s was really cool. We got to basically see him interact at the refreshment stand. There was also a pizza party at the Boys and Girls Club, so I wanted to make sure that these key elements made their way onto the shoe, and I can't wait for him to unbox the cleats.

Kirk Cousins: Year 13, My Cause, My Cleats. These are the real deal. Wow, it's amazing what they can do because he literally has the lemonade stand right there with the practice field on each side. It's almost too good, where you don't want to scuff them up because this is art.

Now, I got to see this other one. Okay, so then we went over to the actual club. He's got the logo here. And we had a little pizza party, so he's got the pizza as well.
