Marcus Rivero: Hi, I am Marcus, AKA Soles By Sir, and I create one-of-one cleats for the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative. Today I'm going Beyond the Field with Truist to design one-of-one cleats for Jaylen Waddle, your wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins. Let’s go.

Marcus Rivero: What’s up Jaylen?
Jaylen Waddle: Marcus, man.
Marcus Rivero: Pleasure. So, tell me a little more about the shoes we’re gonna be rocking for My Cause My Cleats this year.
Jaylen Waddle: Obviously, I have been spending the day with Boys and Girls Club, so in honor of the day I’m going to make them My Cause My Cleats.
Marcus Rivero: Let’s just start from the beginning. Favorite color?
Jaylen Waddle: Favorite color is gray. Yea, I know right. Yea, that’s, that’s the part.
Marcus Rivero: Crushed me. Okay, let’s go. I’m going to do parts of the mural, parts, you know, where you’re talking about financial literacy stuff. But they’re gonna be—gray is not gonna be on there. I’m so sorry, but I’m gonna try my best, but it’s probably not gonna be on there.
Jaylen Waddle: Yea, Marcus, I already know man. Gray has always been my favorite color but, it don’t really hit the same. Especially on the field.
Marcus Rivero: If you score and you do your little waddle dance you have to point at the shoes.
Jaylen Waddle: I got you, that is a must do.
Marcus Rivero: That’s it. I appreciate you.
Jaylen Waddle: Most definitely. Much love. Thank you.

Marcus Rivero: So, basically on one of his shoes, what I wanted to do was I wanted to bring elements of the actual murals to the shoe and break it up. And then on the inside of the shoe, I wanted to bring it back to like a school room idea where it was a chalkboard with financial literacy terms like he was explaining to the kids at the Boys and Girls Club.
